Description
Melatonin is a hormone made by the brain to promote sleep. A low secretion of melatonin can cause sleep disorders such as insomnia, difficulty falling asleep or too light sleep. The supply of melatonin by supplementation is therefore a good solution to regain a restful sleep.
Instructions and cautions
Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin.
DURATION OF USE: For use beyond 4 weeks, consult a health care practitioner. Jet lag: for
occasional short-term use.
WARNINGS: Consumption with alcohol or other medication or natural health products with
sedative properties is not recommended. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you suffer from: asthma, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, depression, diabetes or hypoglycaemia, hormonal disorder, immune system disease, liver disease, migraine, seizure disorders or if you are taking medications for: anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, blood pressure, immunosuppressive, sedative/hypnotic/psychotropic or steroids.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this product.
KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS: Rare allergic reactions have been known to occur in which
case, discontinue use. Mild gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting or cramping) have
been know to occur in which case, discontinue use.
